Ravi and Tanya, a happily married couple, were on a much-needed vacation in an exotic beach resort. Everything was perfect—the sunsets, the candlelit dinners, the lazy walks by the shore. Wanting to relax even more, they decided to book a couple’s massage at the resort’s luxurious spa.
As they entered the grand massage center, soft instrumental music played in the background, and the scent of lavender filled the air. They were escorted to a private lounge where they waited for their therapists.
A few minutes later, a stunning young woman entered the room, her uniform crisp and professional. She walked up to Ravi, flashing a polite smile.
“Sir, your massage room is ready. Please come with me,” she said.
Ravi sat up straight, feeling a mix of excitement and relaxation already. He looked at Tanya with a casual smile. “Alright, see you in an hour, babe.”
But before he could stand, the masseuse gently placed a hand on his shoulder and asked, “Are you sure you’re comfortable with me giving you the massage?”
Tanya raised an eyebrow and looked at Ravi. He chuckled and waved off her concerns. “Of course! It’s completely normal. These days, women work in every field. You should change the way you think, Tanya. It’s just a massage, after all.”
Tanya simply nodded, observing him with amusement.
Just then, another voice entered the scene. A deep, smooth voice.
“Madam, your massage room is ready. Please come with me,” said a tall, muscular male therapist standing at the door, his presence commanding attention.
Tanya’s eyes lit up with a playful spark as she turned to look at the handsome man. “Oh, wonderful!” she said, smiling brightly.
Ravi, who was mid-step toward the massage room, froze. His eyebrows shot up as he turned toward Tanya, watching her reaction. “Wait… him? He’s your massage therapist?”
Tanya nodded, still smiling. “Yes, honey. It’s completely normal, right? These days, men work in every field,” she said, throwing his own words back at him.
Ravi’s face dropped. He swallowed hard and looked at the tall guy again. “Uh… well… actually…” He scratched the back of his head nervously.
The therapist gestured towards the door. “Shall we, ma’am?”
Tanya got up, ready to follow him. But before she could take a step, Ravi grabbed her wrist. “Wait! Tanya, I think… we shouldn’t. I mean, our bodies are already sore from all the sightseeing. Why put more strain on them?”
Tanya tilted her head. “But I thought you said it’s just a massage?”
Ravi laughed awkwardly. “Yeah, but, you know, I suddenly remembered—uh—we have an early morning tomorrow! No need to take risks.”
He turned to the receptionist and blurted, “No refund needed, we’re leaving! Thanks for the service.”
Grabbing Tanya’s hand, he hurried out of the massage center, much to her amusement.
As they walked away, Tanya smirked and whispered, “So, changing my mindset, huh?”
Ravi sighed, shaking his head. “Let’s just get some ice cream instead.”
And with that, they walked off, the trip getting even more memorable in the most unexpected way.
